On this project, we've redefined the concept of the festival insects of Tomorrowland. The challenge was to create visually striking and cost-effective products in copious quantities, with a focus on placing the insects on walls and VIP spaces – a vision encompassing butterflies, beetles, and dragonflies.

Through clever engineering of alternative production and assembly techniques we needed to revolutionize the festival insects.
COST-EFFIENCY FOR GREATER IMPACT
In earlier editions, creating large butterflies incurred significant expenses, limiting the number attainable. After conducting a strategic & technical analysis, we proposed to make smaller insects to make them more economically practical, enabling a larger quantity to adorn festival spaces.

INTELLIGENT DESIGN FOR PRODUCTION AND ASSEMBLY
Our innovative approach involved a shift in production techniques, incorporating injection moulding, screw assembly, and surface treatment (bronzing). This not only reduced costs but also introduced a smart assembly process, optimizing efficiency with multiple parts per unit.
INVESTMENT OPTIMIZATION
By tackling production and assembly intricacies, we not only enhanced cost-effectiveness but also optimized the overall investment, ensuring Tomorrowland gets the best value for their budget.
ENHANCED AESTHETICS AND FEEL
We delved into surface treatment techniques, particularly bronzing, to elevate the finish and feel of the insects. This diligence ensures a refined and visually appealing end product.
